China is completing the formation of its own navigation system

Since 2000 China has created its own global navigation system, which they plan to use for commercial purposes. At the moment, 3 generations of satellites are already located on Earth's orbit, which make it possible to obtain accurate positioning information.

Today, CASC (China Corporation of Aerospace Science and Technology) announced its readiness to launch the last satellite of the system - Beidou-3 which will complete the formation of the system.

On April 4 the satellite was delivered to the pre-launch training zone of the Sichan Komodrom; in the near future it will undergo full pre-launch training, which will end in May this year. This will be the 55th launch of this program.

The space industry in China is experiencing an unusual upsurge; not only meteorological satellites are being developed and launched, but also navigation and telecommunications, a mission is being developed for the exploration of the moon and Mars.
